INTRODUCTIONSearch Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s unpaid results often referred to as “natural”, “organic” or “earned” results. As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience.

Theme of the Web Site/Blog WildWest

Details

1. This is a solo event.
2. The participants need to create a new blog on the theme given below in blogger.com and register it in the link below. Only registered blogs/websites will be considered for the competition.(Website must not be blank)
3. Each participant should have only one website. In case if found more than one website then that participant will be removed from the event. Participant cannot buy any custom domain.
4. The blogger must contain the string "seo" in its url.
5. The blog must contain minimum 3 items in the nav bar (Home, About and contact).The about page must contain brief description about participant (Name, college,branch etc).
6. One of every three posts in the blog must contain a backlink to http://advaita.io , http://www.iiit-bh.ac.in and Your college website link
7. The participant with the highest page rank on Google for the keyword will be the winner.
8. The winner will receive cash prizes and certificates.
